OneImpact Terms of Service Agreement

OneImpact hosted by Dopasi is a digital health solution platform adapted by Dopasi Foundation in Pakistan, initially developed by the Stop TB Partnership and community partners, powered by Dure Technologies, to enhance and support community-led monitoring of the TB response. These Terms of Service are a legal agreement that governs your use of OneImpact hosted by Dopasi and provides information about the app and its services.

In order to use OneImpact hosted by Dopasi, you must be 18 years or older and you must agree to these Terms of Service by clicking at the bottom of this page. When you agree to these Terms and you use OneImpact, you consent to allow OneImpact to collect, store, share and use your information as explained in the OneImpact Privacy Policy.

These Terms may change from time to time. If they change, the new Terms will appear when you open the OneImpact hosted by Dopasi and you will be required to agree to them again before using the app.

About OneImpact


OneImpact hosted by Dopasi aims to promote human rights-based, people-centred approaches to TB, advance community-driven responses, and improve access to and the quality of TB services. OneImpact hosted by Dopasi incorporates five applications to empower people and communities affected by TB: Get to Know your Rights, which provides information on the rights of people affected by TB; Get Knowledgeable, which provides scientific and other information about TB; Get Access, a TB service locator app that helps users find nearby TB health facilities and provides information about the facilities; Get Connected, which connects users with other people affected by TB and TB support groups, and provides a chat platform within the app; Get Involved, which facilitates users to report challenges that interfere with their ability to access TB services and complete TB treatment, and to connect with a support team.

Respect, Diversity, and Inclusion

OneImpact hosted by Dopasi is founded on respect for its users and the promotion of diverse and inclusive communities. To foster a respectful, inclusive environment, do not upload images or other content that depict nudity, sexual content of any kind, graphic violence, or any other content that violates applicable law. All communications among OneImpact users must be respectful and free of hate speech, bullying, harassment and misinformation that contributes to the risk of violence or physical harm. All health and medical information shared on OneImpact must be scientifically accurate and in accordance with accepted ethical standards.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise found to be offensive by the Dopasi Foundation, Stop TB Partnership or Dure Technologies including content that violates copyright or trademark law or other intellectual property rights, and all other content that violates applicable law.

 

Ownership and Rights

OneImpact and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Dure Technologies and may be protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not use, copy, adapt, modify, prepare derivative works of, distribute, license, sell, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, broadcast or otherwise exploit any of the content accessed through OneImpact, unless you are the legal owner of the content, or it is explicitly allowed for in these Terms.

 

Suspension or Termination of Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate your access to or use of OneImpact hosted by Dopasi if you violate the letter or spirit of these Terms or create harm, risk, or possible legal exposure for us or other OneImpact hosted by Dopasi users.

Disclaimers

OneImpact hosted by Dopasi is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. OneImpact is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind and we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied. These disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability 

When you use OneImpact hosted by Dopasi, you agree that the liability of Dopasi Foundation, Dure Technologies and Stop TB Partnership, and their parent institutions, affiliates, related companies, departments, employees, officers, directors, etc., is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. You agree that we are not liable for any consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of OneImpact hosted by Dopasi, including any arising from data breaches or your use of health services or adherence to medical diagnoses, information, advice, or opinions accessed or received through or related to your use of OneImpact hosted by Dopasi. We also do not control what other OneImpact hosted by Dopasi users do or say, and we are not responsible for their or your actions or content—online or offline—including unlawful or objectionable content, though all such content in OneImpact hosted by Dopasi will be regulated in accordance with these Terms, as described above.

Indemnification 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Dopasi Foundation, Stop TB Partnership and Dure Technologies against all liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) relating to, arising out of, or in any way in connection with any of the following: (a) your access to or use of OneImpact, including information provided in connection therewith; (b) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; or (c) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as fully as required by us in the defense or settlement of any such claims.

 

Dispute Resolution 

All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of OneImpact hosted by Dopasi will be settled. The laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will govern all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of OneImpact.

General

Unless a mutually executed agreement between you and us states otherwise, these Terms constitute the entire and exclusive understanding and agreement between you and the Dopasi Foundation, Stop TB Partnership and Dure Technologies regarding OneImpact hosted by Dopasi, and these Terms supersede and replace any and all prior oral or written understandings or agreements between you and us regarding OneImpact hosted by Dopasi and its content.

OneImpact hosted by Dopasi Privacy Policy

OneImpact hosted by Dopasi is a digital health solution platform adapted by Dopasi Foundation in Pakistan, initially developed by the Stop TB Partnership and community partners, powered by Dure Technologies, to enhance and support community-led monitoring of the TB response. Respect for your privacy and confidentiality is key to the success of community-led monitoring. This OneImpact hosted by Dopasi Privacy Policy is therefore meant to help you understand what information OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects from you, how the information is used, where the information is stored, and with whom the information is shared, and how you can manage or delete your information.

What kinds of information does OneImpact collect?

OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects six kinds of information. First, OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects the personal information you provide in the Registration Form which appears in your User Profile. The Registration Form may require you to provide your age, gender, the type of user you are, the kind of TB you have, whether you identify as a TB key population, and information about your health facility. If you identify as a TB key population, in doing so you may provide personal information about your occupation, your income status, your legal status as a prisoner, your immigration status, whether you use drugs, whether you have a disability, or your ethnicity.

Second, if you allow it to do so, OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects geolocation data about where your device—and therefore oftentimes where you—are located. This data is collected using the Global Positioning System (GPS).

Third, OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects information about your health that you provide in the Registration Form, and possibly in the Get Involved section or in surveys that may be conducted from time to time in the app. This includes information about your TB, if you are living with HIV, your health care, the health care of your family or close contacts, and possibly other health-related information.

Fourth, OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects the information you provide when you chat with other users in the Get Connected section.

Fifth, OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects the information you provide when you submit a report in the Get Involved section. This is the information you provide in ticking the boxes that apply to you when you submit a report about a TB Challenge.

Sixth, OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects information about the device on which you have installed OneImpact hosted by Dopasi. This includes unique identifiers, browser type and settings, device type and settings, and operating system.

How does OneImpact hosted by Dopasi use your information?

The information OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects from you is used in the following ways:

The personal information you provide in the Registration Form is used to identify you as a unique individual and to allow you to report and obtain resolutions for TB Challenges. Your personal information may also be de-identified and aggregated with other users’ information for analysis to better understand and improve the TB response in your country and around the world.

The geolocation data about where your device—and therefore oftentimes where you— are located is used to identify and show you the nearest health facilities, to track the location of where reports about TB Challenges are submitted, and—in aggregated, de-identified form—for analysis to better understand and improve the TB response in your country and around the world.

The information you provide about your health is used to enable resolutions for the TB Challenges you report and—in aggregated, de-identified form—for analysis to better understand and improve the TB response in your country and around the world.

The information you provide in your chats in the Get Connected section is not used for any purpose beyond allowing you to communicate with other OneImpact users.

The information you provided in the Get Involved section by ticking the boxes that apply to you when you submit a report about a TB Challenge is used to enable resolutions for the TB Challenges you report and—in aggregated, de-identified form—for analysis to better understand and improve the TB response in your country and around the world.

The information OneImpact hosted by Dopasi collects about your device is used to facilitate updates in the app to maintain and improve OneImpact hosted by Dopasi’s operation.

 

Where is your information stored, who stores it, and for how long?

The information OneImpact collects from you is stored as digital data by a commercial cloud computing service that is owned and controlled by Dure Technologies, Microsoft Azure. With this service, your data is stored on a physical server in the United States of America, where Microsoft is based. For some countries using OneImpact, your data is stored locally on a physical server in your country. You can find out where your information is stored.

With the exception of the information, you provide in your chats in the Get Connected section, the data collected by OneImpact is stored for as long as the project is in operation in your country or until you submit a request to delete your account and its data.

How is your information shared?

With a few exceptions, the information collected by OneImpact hosted by Dopasi is only accessible to the individuals involved in the project at Dopasi Foundation implementing OneImpact in Pakistan. This includes your personal information, the information you provide about your health, and your geolocation data.

All information shared with individuals outside Dopasi Foundation, including government authorities, is stripped of all personally identifiable information. This means your data is de-identified, so that is very difficult to impossible for anyone to identify you or your information. Often, when your data is shared in this way, it will be aggregated with the data from other OneImpact users. However, you may consent to allow your personal information to be shared with first responders, such as the information you provide when you submit a report about a TB Challenge in the Get Involved section.

The information you provide in your chats in the Get Connected section is not accessible to anyone beyond the OneImpact hosted by Dopasi users with whom you chat and the moderator of the forum from the Dopasi Foundation.

How can you manage or delete your information or contact the Dopasi Foundation, Stop TB Partnership or Dure Technologies?

You may manage or delete your OneImpact hosted by Dopasi account or information you provide in OneImpact hosted by Dopasi, all requests made in this form will be addressed within 30 days from its submission.

If your data has been de-identified and aggregated with other user data, it cannot be deleted. However, as explained above, it will be difficult to impossible to identify you or your data when it is in this format.
